Closure of UNMIL

The United Nations Mission in Liberia was established in October 2003 to support for the implementation of a ceasefire agreement and peace process, and to assist with the maintenance and restoration of law and order throughout Liberia. The mission successfully completed its mandate on 30 March 2018.

<p style="text-align: justify;">UNMIL Radio&rsquo;s &ldquo;Transition and Governance&rdquo; program on Tuesday hosted officials of the UNDP and the National Bureau of Concessions.<br />They spoke of the holding of a two &ndash;day multi stakeholders meeting aimed at improving citizens&rsquo; engagement in concessions management and managing concession-related conflicts.</p>
