Closure of UNMIL

The United Nations Mission in Liberia was established in October 2003 to support for the implementation of a ceasefire agreement and peace process, and to assist with the maintenance and restoration of law and order throughout Liberia. The mission successfully completed its mandate on 30 March 2018.

<p style="text-align: justify;">Coffee Break is UNMIL Radio&rsquo;s flagship news and current affairs program that highlights issues of concerns to UNMIL, government of Liberia, Civil Society and Grassroots communities. Issues such as peace and reconciliation, elections, women&rsquo;s issues, current events, governance, rule of law, electricity and road construction among others are captured in the program which is aired Mondays-Fridays.<br />Coffee Break today featured live interviews with the following persons and issues:</p>

<li style="text-align: justify;">Momo Cyrus &ndash; Chief Executive Officer / Security Expert Guard Agency of Liberia proposes a private public partnership in the security sector.</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Sam Saryon &ndash; Head / Crimes Stopper Network extends its activities to South Eastern Liberia;</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">James&nbsp; Kwabo - Manager /Alternative Youth FM , Zorzor Lofa speak about how Lightening affected the operations of the station</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Henry Flomo - Director of Communications / National Elections Commission to begin voter roll exhibition</li>
